Medjugorje Pilgrimage TBD ·  September 2027

With your guide, Ann Vucic

This 10-day pilgrimage stays in one place long enough to be changed by it, giving seven full days to the rhythm of prayer that shapes daily life in Medjugorje. Pilgrims are led by Ann Vucic, born two miles from the village and an early witness to the apparitions in 1981, whose orientation and daily presence open the place from the inside. Together they worship at the English Mass in St. James Church, keep the evening program of Rosary, Confession, and Adoration alongside pilgrims from around the world, climb Apparition Hill where Our Lady first appeared to the visionaries, and pray the Stations of the Cross ascending Cross Mountain. Quieter hours open onto the testimonies of the Cenacolo Community and day trips to Siroki Brijeg and Mostar, while unhurried free time leaves room for silence, Scripture, and conversion of heart. Pilgrims come home carrying seeds of grace rather than souvenirs—returned by a different way, with the peace of Medjugorje still doing its quiet work.

Anticipated Weather · September

Split / Adriatic Coast 64–81°F Warm & Sunny · September September holds the Dalmatian coast at its best — bright, dry, and still summer-warm, with the sea breeze taking the edge off the afternoon. An easy landing after the overnight flight, and the last stretch of ordinary road before the valley opens.
Medjugorje Village 57–80°F Warm & Dry · September Long, sun-filled days in the valley, cooling noticeably once the sun drops behind the hills. The mild evenings are made for the outdoor prayer program at St. James, where an hour outdoors after dark asks for a light layer and gives back far more.
Apparition Hill & Cross Mountain 58–78°F Bright & Breezy · September The ascents are hot and exposed by midday, so most pilgrims climb early, when the rock is cool and the valley is still in shadow. The stones are sharp and uneven underfoot, and a late-summer shower can pass through without much warning — the difficulty of the climb is part of what is offered at the top.

Pack light, breathable layers with something warmer for the evening prayer program, sun protection and a refillable water bottle for the day trips to Siroki Brijeg and Mostar, and sturdy, grippy shoes for the rocky ascents of Apparition Hill and Cross Mountain. Modest attire is required at all sacred sites (shoulders and knees covered).

What Pilgrims Are Saying

I have lots of favorite moments! One that I will treasure very much , was being able to be up on the altar and read one of the petitions during English Mass. I was surrounded with so many priests!!! Three of them, I listen and watch their videos online only!!!   View More

All were very knowledgeable, pleasant, and seemed to have the interest of the pilgrims clearly in focus. I also appreciated their faith and commitment to making this a spiritual experience for us. Loved the way meals were prepared and served; promoting a 'family' atmosphere.

Tekton, their staff, and the places we stay are always superb. I frequently recommend Tekton to others and to priests.
