Medjugorje Youth Festival 2027
This 10-day pilgrimage brings young pilgrims to Medjugorje for Mladifest, the international Youth Festival, where tens of thousands of young people from around the world gather for a week-long school of prayer. Pilgrims enter the festival’s daily rhythm of catechesis, testimony, the Rosary and Holy Mass. They kneel before the Blessed Sacrament in Eucharistic Adoration and climb Apparition Hill and Cross Mountain in prayer alongside friends from dozens of nations. In the quieter days that follow, they linger in the peace of Our Lady’s village and, as time allows, hear the stories of freedom shared by the Cenacolo Community. Having tasted the joy that only God can give, pilgrims carry home not souvenirs but seeds of grace—and return by a different way, sent out as witnesses of peace.
Our pilgrimage begins as we depart on our overnight flights to Split. Meals and drinks served aloft.
Upon arrival in Split, we will travel to Medjugorje. After checking into our pansion, we will have some free time before dinner.
Upon our arrival in Medjugorje, Ann will provide you with a comprehensive orientation about Medjugorje and the apparitions, and you will be given a brief tour of the area, so that you are familiar with everything.
We will have two meals each day at our Pansion (breakfast every morning, and either lunch or dinner, depending on the events scheduled that day). There are many restaurants in Medjugorje for people who may wish to have a third meal each day.
We will follow the Youth Festival calendar and participate in the scheduled events. Throughout the festival, participants enter into a full rhythm of prayer and formation.
The program includes:
- Daily catecheses
- Personal testimonies
- The Rosary and Holy Mass
- Eucharistic Adoration
- Climbs of Apparition Hill (Podbrdo) and Cross Mountain (Križevac)
An international choir and orchestra, made up of young people from many nations, animate the gatherings. The entire program is translated into roughly twenty languages so that young people from around the world can fully participate.
As we spend our last two days in Medjugorje after the festival, many of the activities will be subject to availability and weather. These activities could include:
- Visiting the Cenacolo Community, where young people with various addictions will share their testimonies about how they found freedom and a new life through prayer, work, and the Sacraments.
- Day trips to Siroki Brijeg and Mostar
- Hearing talks by priests and other locals, when possible.
- Free time for shopping, so that you can bring back a piece of Medjugorje to your loved ones at home, and private reflection.
Depart Medjugorje early in the morning after a wonderful pilgrimage with Our Lady! Transfer to the airport in Dubrovnik for our return flights home.
