Medjugorje Pilgrimage Chicago ·  March 2027

With guide, Ann Vucic

This 10-day pilgrimage settles into Medjugorje for seven full days, trading a packed sightseeing pace for the slower rhythm of prayer and presence. With Ann’s orientation to ground you, you’ll climb Apparition Hill and Cross Mountain, join the daily English Mass at St. James and the evening international prayer program, and hear testimonies of conversion and freedom at the Cenacolo Community. This is time set apart to be still and receive—and to return home by a different way, transformed by the days spent with Our Lady.

Anticipated Weather · March

Sarajevo 38–55°F Cool & Overcast · March Cool, often grey days greet arriving pilgrims in the mountain-ringed capital. Mornings can be cold and damp, with showers possible. A warm jacket eases the transition as you set out from the airport toward Our Lady's village.
Medjugorje 37–57°F Cool & Variable · March Early spring brings cool, changeable weather—mild afternoons giving way to chilly evenings near freezing. Rain showers come and go. The unhurried days invite the pilgrim to settle into prayer rather than rush, gathering seeds of grace to carry home.
Apparition Hill / Cross Mountain 40–58°F Mixed Sun & Cloud · March The climbs bring sun and cloud in turn, with cool, breezy air on the rocky ascent. Footing can be wet and uneven after rain. The effort of the climb is part of the path—discomfort embraced becomes its own quiet prayer on the way to the summit.

Dress in warm layers—March days are cool and evenings drop near freezing. Pack a waterproof jacket and sturdy, grippy shoes for the rocky climbs up Apparition Hill and Cross Mountain, which can be slick after rain. Modest attire is required for Mass and at all sacred sites (shoulders and knees covered).

What Pilgrims Are Saying

I have been challenged to live out the Messages of Medj by living them in my own life and sharing them with others.
Jennie G.
Pilgrim from Brentwood, TN
I was SO influenced by sharing the time with the Universal Church. In Our Lady's message she called us to (paraphrasing) to be carriers of Peace and Joy . So, for me I will try to Evangelize at every opportunity. I truly know that Our Lady loves me as does her Son. My heart is full and overflowing.
Pam F.
Pilgrim from Nashville, TN
