Medjugorje Pilgrimage Phoenix ·  April 2027

With guide, Ann Vucic

This 10-day pilgrimage, led by experienced guide Ann Vucic, offers an extended retreat in Medjugorje, where Our Lady has called countless pilgrims to prayer, conversion, and peace. Climb Apparition Hill where the visionaries first encountered the Blessed Mother, pray the Stations ascending Cross Mountain, and join pilgrims from around the world for daily Mass, Adoration, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Immerse yourself in the rhythm of prayer that has transformed hearts for over four decades, and return home by a different way—renewed by Our Lady’s invitation to draw closer to her Son.

Anticipated Weather · April

Split / Dalmatian Coast 58–70°F Warm & Sunny · Mid-April Split in mid-April is catching its stride after winter — warm, clear, and just beginning to open up for the season. The drive inland from the coast to Medjugorje passes through countryside that is fully and visibly spring, and the transition from the Adriatic to the valley feels, for the attentive pilgrim, like crossing a threshold.
Medjugorje 55–70°F Mild & Partly Sunny · April The Medjugorje valley in April is green, alive, and still uncrowded — warm enough for long mornings on foot between St. James and the surrounding shrines, cool enough in the evenings to make the walk home from Adoration feel like a gift. A week here in this season has a way of moving faster than expected and leaving more behind than planned.
Apparition Hill & Cross Mountain 48–60°F Cool & Variable · April Spring weather in the Herzegovinian hills is genuinely unpredictable — a clear morning on the ascent can give way to cloud and rain by the time the Stations are finished. The rocky paths demand sturdy shoes, and the exposed summit of Cross Mountain demands a warm layer. Neither the hill nor the mountain has ever turned a determined pilgrim back, and neither has the weather.

April in Medjugorje is spring pilgrimage season at its finest — warm days, cool evenings, and the occasional shower. Pack a light waterproof jacket, sturdy closed-toe shoes for the hills, and layers for the evenings. Modest attire is required throughout (shoulders and knees covered).

What Pilgrims Are Saying

I have been challenged to live out the Messages of Medj by living them in my own life and sharing them with others.

Pilgrim from Brentwood, TN
I was SO influenced by sharing the time with the Universal Church. In Our Lady's message she called us to (paraphrasing) to be carriers of Peace and Joy . So, for me I will try to Evangelize at every opportunity. I truly know that Our Lady loves me as does her Son. My heart is full and overflowing.
