Anticipated Weather · September

Rouen / Lisieux / Normandy 55–68°F Mild & Partly Cloudy · September The Norman coast in early September is mild and atmospheric — sun and cloud trading places throughout the day, with the occasional shower. The softer light over Omaha Beach and the Little Flower's Lisieux suits the pilgrim's pace well.
Mont St. Michel / Le Mans / Orléans / Chartres 52–65°F Cool & Variable · September The tidal bay and Loire Valley bring changeable skies and a brisk Atlantic edge in September. The grey light over Mont St. Michel carries its own majesty — pack a warm layer for the abbey and a waterproof shell for the walk across the sands.
Paris 58–72°F Warm & Mostly Sunny · September Paris in September is at its most quietly beautiful — summer crowds thinning, golden afternoon light on the Seine, and warm evenings perfect for the farewell cruise under the illuminated bridges of the city.

September in northern France brings comfortable temperatures and a mix of sun and cloud — pack a lightweight waterproof jacket and layers for the cooler Norman coast and Mont St. Michel. Paris will feel noticeably warmer. Comfortable walking shoes suited for cobblestones are essential throughout. Modest attire is required at all churches and sacred sites (shoulders and knees covered).

What Pilgrims Are Saying

Each step of the process was meticulous. I felt valued and cared for. Specifically Krista in the Tekton office who promptly replied to questions/concerns and [our tour guide] who cared for each one of the pilgrims like family.

The experience has changed me in a way that is difficult to explain. I have told my friends and family that taking a pilgrimage is something everyone should do if they want to experience an increase in faith and understanding of what God wants from us.
Emma P.
Pilgrim from Leeds, AL
The pilgrimage was fantastic, there is no way to experience so much without taking the trip through a tour service. I was absolutely amazed at how much we were able to see and do. The day we arrived we were quickly on our way to all the scheduled stops for day 2. Very impressed from the very start.
