Healing & The Little Way A Pilgrimage to the Shrines of France
San Francisco ·  April 2027

Lisieux | Mont-Saint-Michel | Chartres | Paris | Lourdes

This 12-day pilgrimage across France moves from the Normandy home of the Little Flower to the Grotto of Massabielle, following saints who found holiness in hidden, ordinary fidelity. Pilgrims pray at the tomb of Saints Louis and Zélie Martin in Lisieux, climb to the Archangel’s abbey atop Mont-Saint-Michel, and celebrate Mass at the Le Mans motherhouse that sent Saint Theodore Guérin to the Indiana frontier. In Paris they kneel in the Chapel of the Miraculous Medal and keep a Holy Hour beneath Sacré-Cœur before carrying their intentions to Lourdes, where the candlelit Eucharistic Procession and the waters of the spring ask for a surrender no schedule can plan. Like Thérèse’s little way, the graces here are quiet ones—and pilgrims return home by a different way, carrying not keepsakes but the seeds of a changed heart.

"Our tour guide was phenomenal. She was a true pleasure. She was organized, knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. She put our needs above her own. She was quick to find help for the disabled on our trip. She assisted us in all our needs, and what she wasn't sure of, she found answers about."

Your place on this pilgrimage awaits.

Anticipated Weather · April

Lisieux / Mont-Saint-Michel 43–59°F Cool & Changeable · April Spring along the Channel brings bright spells, passing showers, and a stiff wind across the bay at Mont-Saint-Michel. The climb to the abbey is steep and exposed, and it is a fitting first lesson that the road to the summit is part of the prayer.
Paris / Chartres 46–64°F Mild & Variable · April Mild afternoons with blossoming trees, cool mornings, and the chance of a brief shower between churches. A busy city rewards the pilgrim who puts the camera down and lingers in the colored light of Sainte-Chapelle.
Lourdes 42–62°F Cool & Showery · April Damp spring weather in the Pyrenees foothills, with frequent rain and evenings that turn chilly for the candlelight processions. Standing in the drizzle with candle in hand is a small offering, joined to the thousands who have come here seeking healing.

Pack warm layers, a waterproof jacket or compact umbrella, and comfortable waterproof walking shoes for cobblestones, the climb at Mont-Saint-Michel, and evening processions in Lourdes. Modest attire is required at all sacred sites (shoulders and knees covered).
