Our day begins as we gather as a group for the first time at our hotel in Paris (address provided prior to departure) by 10:00am. The hotel will hold our bags until check-in while we take a tour of Paris’s secular landmarks (Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, etc.). We will have a Mass scheduled before returning to the hotel for check-in and dinner (international check in is 3:00 PM). (D, Mass) Overnight Paris

Our first stop today will be to the Shrine of St. Vincent de Paul where the saint’s body is on display in a reliquary. We will celebrate Mass here and consecrate the rest of our pilgrimage to his intercession. From there we go to the Chapel of the Miraculous Medal at Rue du Bac. This is where Our Lady appeared to St. Catherine Laboure in 1830 and where she is buried. Our last stop of the day is the imposing Saint-Sulpice. The remainder of the day is free, including time for dinner on our own. (B, Mass) Overnight Paris

Today we begin at Notre Dame Cathedral, reopened in 2024 after extensive restoration, in the spiritual heart of Paris. Just a few blocks away on the same little island in the Seine is Sainte-Chapelle, built in 1248 to house the Crown of Thorns, one of the world’s most captivating arrays of stained-glass windows. We then journey across the river to La Madeleine, a neo-classical church built in honor of Mary Magdalene. This afternoon, we journey to the top of Montmartre and visit the Basilique du Sacre Coeur. Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight. (B, D, Mass) Overnight Paris

After breakfast we make our way through the Normandy countryside to Rouen, where we will explore on foot its magnificent Gothic cathedral and the Church of St. Joan of Arc, built near where she was burned to death. Proceed to Lisieux, the home of St. Therese the “Little Flower of Jesus” where we will check into our hotel for dinner and overnight. (B, D, Mass) Overnight Lisieux

This morning will be dedicated to exploring the sites associated with the heroic events of D-Day – June 6, 1944. After Mass in Lisieux we will drive along the Normandy coast to Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer to visit the Normandy American Cemetery and Omaha Beach, one of the sites where the Allies came ashore on D-Day. Afterwards, we return to Lisieux for dinner and overnight. (B, D, Mass) Overnight Lisieux

Spend time in Lisieux this morning visiting the home where Therese lived as a child. We will see the Carmelite Convent where she was a nun, the Basilica of St. Therese, a grand and serene place of worship, and the Cathedral of St. Peter. This afternoon we journey back to Paris where we will check into our hotel for dinner and overnight. (B, D, Mass) Overnight Paris

After breakfast, we will board the high-speed train to Lourdes, one of the great pilgrimage shrines in the world. On the train, we will have time for some group discussion and prayer, enjoying the passing countryside, or catching up on sleep. It was in Lourdes that Our Lady appeared to St. Bernadette in 1858, proclaiming herself the “Immaculate Conception.” This peaceful village is also known for its healing waters. This evening, we join hundreds of other pilgrims in the Blessed Sacrament Procession and Candlelight Procession, an event that has endured since 1863. Bask in the grace of Lourdes all day as we have Mass at the Grotto of Massabielle, where Our Lady first appeared to St. Bernadette and instructed her to dig for the spring that is now known across the world for its many miracles of healing. We also visit the humble home where St. Bernadette lived during the apparitions. Tonight, we again join the candlelight procession with thousands of other pilgrims in prayer and song. This morning we will depart Lourdes for Montserrat where we will visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Montserrat, the spiritual heart of Catalonia and home to a dramatically set Benedictine monastery. For nearly a millennium this Marian shrine has attracted thousands of pilgrims from around the world. We will also visit the Black Madonna of Montserrat, one of Spain’s most fervent devotions to the Blessed Mother. We continue to Barcelona, our home for the next three nights. We begin this morning at Gaudi’s La Sagrada Familia: the magnificent basilica of impressive proportions – under construction for nearly 150 years. It is one of the largest and most extravagant churches in the world. From there we make our way into the old city for time of prayer at Santa Maria del Mar and the Barcelona Cathedral. We then visit the Church of St. Augustine in El Raval before exploring the colorful market of La Boqueria along Las Ramblas. The rest of the day will be for free time before we meet back at our hotel for dinner and overnight. (B, D, Mass) Overnight Barcelona

We begin today going to Sacred Heart, a magnificent neo-Renaissance Church built on the outskirts of Barcelona on a hill. The site offers a beautiful overlook of the city. We will have time here for prayer and reflection before spending the afternoon on our own for exploration before we meet for our farewell dinner this evening. (B, D, Mass) Overnight Barcelona

Today marks the end of a marvelous experience as we transfer to the airport for the return trip home, filled with the memories and graces of this pilgrimage that will last a lifetime.
