Why Spiritual Preparation Matters
After thirty years of leading Catholic pilgrimages to the Holy Land, Italy, Medjugorje, France, and sacred sites around the world, we've learned something that no amount of logistics can replace: the pilgrims who prepare their hearts before departure receive immeasurably more than those who simply show up. This self-guided retreat walks you through seven one-hour sessions in the weeks before your pilgrimage. Each session combines teaching rooted in Catholic pilgrim spirituality, contemplative meditation with sacred music, guided reflection, and private journaling — building a spiritual foundation that will shape everything you experience on the road ahead.

Sensat's By A Different Way: A Catholic Guide to Pilgrim Spirituality — a book that distinguishes pilgrimage from tourism, retreat, and vacation, and teaches pilgrims how to encounter Christ on the road and return home changed. Pilgrims who complete all seven sessions receive a free copy of the book on their pilgrimage.
