Anticipated Weather · November

Mexico City / Teotihuacan / Basilica of Guadalupe 62–75°F Warm & Sunny · Early November November marks the heart of Mexico City's dry season — clear skies, bright sun, and warm afternoons at altitude. The light on Tepeyac Hill and the Pyramid of the Sun is generous and unhurried, the kind that rewards the pilgrim who arrives not simply to see but to stand still and receive.
Puebla / Cholula 55–70°F Mild & Partly Sunny · November Puebla and Cholula sit slightly higher and cooler than Mexico City, with crisp mornings and pleasant afternoons that suit a slow walk between the city's colonial churches. November brings mostly clear skies and an atmosphere that has shed the summer humidity — ideal conditions for pilgrims on foot and in prayer.
Mornings & Evenings Throughout 42–52°F Cool & Crisp · High Altitude Both Mexico City and Puebla sit above 7,000 feet, and November nights and early mornings make that elevation felt. A warm layer is necessary from dusk onward — and the cool dawn air at the Basilica, arriving early before the crowds, is one of the quiet gifts this pilgrimage holds for those who seek it.

November is peak dry season across central Mexico — sunny days, low humidity, and cool evenings at altitude. Pack layers for mornings and nights, sunscreen and a hat for outdoor sites like Teotihuacan and Tepeyac Hill, and comfortable walking shoes for cobblestone streets throughout. Modest attire is required at all churches and shrines (shoulders and knees covered).

What Pilgrims Are Saying

I highly recommend this pilgrimage. Americans would be well served to take more interest in Our Lady of Guadalupe & St Juan Diego. The whole story & the various miracles involved are really awesome & will boost one's faith.

A special appreciation to Krista who helped this little old lady, who was traveling solo & inexperienced in international travel, prepare well for the Pilgrimage. Despite my anxiety, all connections were made, I managed to pack well, made some super friends & had a memorable experience. Tekton's pre-pilgrimage support (important information, coaching, & prayers) is superior to companies I have used in the past. I'm glad I did not let my apprehension about traveling on my own, stop me from experiencing the blessings of this journey.

Thanks for arranging a perfect vacation/pilgrimage to Mexico. All the details worked well, from airport pickup to meals. The guide was friendly and flexible - and having the driver was really convenient. It was great to understand the history of the country, which put the religious aspects in context. My family really enjoyed it.

My favorite moment was praying before the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Also, communicating with people of Mexico through our Catholic faith.
